August 8th and 9th: Eisteddfod concerto competition

I will be accompanying Warwick Ambrose in the two-piano version of Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini. There are twelve contestants in total, so for concerto lovers it's a chance to hear a lot of music in one day!

Heats on 8th August, 2:00 p.m. until approximately 6:30 p.m; Warwick and I will be performing around 4:15 p.m.
Finals on 9th August, 6:30 p.m. (Three to five finalists selected from the heats, hopefully including Warwick.)
Tickets at the door; prices to be confirmed, but it's unlikely to be more than $10.
Pilgrim Church, 12 Flinders Street, Adelaide.

August 22nd: Recital with opera singer Gisele Blanchard

Gisele Blanchard is celebrating her return to Adelaide with a programme of French and Italian arias, accompanied by me.

August 25th: Song recital with Naomi Hede

We will be performing songs by Richard Strauss and Poulenc, as well as Schubert's popular The Shepherd on the Rock and new works by Adelaide composer Rowen Fox, with guest clarinettist Anna Coleman. This concert is part of the lunch hour concert series presented by Recitals Australia.

1:10 p.m, Pilgrim Church, 12 Flinders Street, Adelaide.
Admission $5/$4 concession.

November/December: solo piano recital

Part two of my four-part journey through Bach's Well-tempered Clavier, together with a selection of preludes by Debussy. Details to be announced.
